Quick Setup Guide

1. Connect Your Territories (Channels)

Your community lives in "Channels". Sovereign acts as the bridge between them.

1. Navigate to Sovereign: Channels.
2. Discord: Click "Add Bot". Ensure the bot has Administrator permissions. This is required for it to manage roles and track invites accurately.
3. Telegram: Add @UseSovereignBot to your group. Promote it to Admin immediately.

[!TIP] Why Admin? On Telegram, the bot needs to see "Service Messages" (like user joined/left) which are often hidden from non-admin bots in large groups.

2. Unify the Identity

This is the magic moment. You want your users to link their accounts.

• The Command: Users can type /link in any channel.
• The Result: They receive a secure, ephemeral link to your dashboard to merge their profiles.
• The Benefit: A user active on Telegram who joins your Discord is instantly recognized as the same person. Their credits, XP, and reputation transfer over.

3. Upload Your Brain (Knowledge Base)

Your AI is only as smart as what you feed it.

1. Go to Knowledge Base.
2. Manual Sources: Paste your FAQ, Manifesto, or Rules.
3. AI Insights: As the bot observes conversations, it will automatically save highalue information. You just need to approve it.

The "First Day" Checklist

To verify your installation is perfect, ensure you can say "Yes" to these 3 questions:

• Can I see myself? Go to Members and find your own profile. Do you see both your Discord and Telegram icons linked?
• Does the AI know me? Ask the bot "Who is the admin?" in chat. If you added that to the Knowledge Base, it should answer correctly.
• Is the gatekeeper working? Create a Magic Invite and use it to join with a test account. Did it track?
